PLANTS & VEGETABLES
Our main focus is on hydroponically grown lettuce and herbs, but we will be supplying local markets with hydroponic tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and eggplant soon! Through a partnership with the University of Arizona, we grow pearl and blue oyster mushrooms and we have a flock of chickens which produce beautifully colored eggs!
Lettuce is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin K and potassium, with higher concentrations of vitamin A found in darker green lettuces. It also provides some dietary fiber (concentrated in the spine and ribs), carbohydrates, protein and a small amount of fat.
We anticipate three thousand heads of lettuce a week at full capacity and our tomatoes are supplied from our controlled environment greenhouses.
